1st Global Forum on Enforcement
The UIHJ organises on 10 December 2014 in cooperation with the CEPEJ the 1st Global Forum on Enforcement at the Council of Europe Palace in Strasbourg to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the CEPEJ Guidelines on Enforcement on the topic: “The Efficiency of Civil Enforcement Proceedings in Europe”.
Initially, it will focus on how court decisions are enforced in Europe while giving a precise insight into the European jurisprudence.
Then, the Forum will raise the question of how to improve the efficiency of enforcement, using existing and new tools.
The lecturers, practitioners and academics, all internationally recognised experts, will present a vision of the enforcement of court decisions that goes beyond the European environment.
That is why this first Global Forum on Enforcement, which is open to all legal professionals, from Europe and other continents, will include the participation of major international institutions and organisations.
Each participant will receive various documents, including the 2014 CEPEJ Report on the Efficiency of European Judicial Systems and the 1st 2014 edition of the book newly published by the UIHJ on European case law on civil enforcement proceedings and the profession of enforcement agent (European Court of Human Rights and Court of Justice of the European Union).
This seminar is free and open to all. Due to a limited number of seats prior registration is compulsory.
Strasbourg, the seat of the Council of Europe, is a particularly attractive city, especially in December during the traditional Christmas Market. It is strongly recommended to book overnight stays as quickly as possible.
