A multilateral seminar

A training seminar was held in Libreville on the 12th and 13th of February 2004 and was organised by the National Chamber of Enforcement Agents of Gabon in collaboration with the UFOHJA, the International Union and the National School of Procedure of France.
This event was a resounding success thanks to the presence of around fifty participants including enforcement agents, their clerks or colleagues, who were joined by enforcement agents from Congo - Brazzaville, lawyers, experts in financial litigation and magistrates.

An exemplary organisation

This seminar, a perfect example of efficient organisation, was covered by the media (newspapers and television) and was opened by Mrs. Nzet Biteghe, secretary of the chancellery, representing the Minister of Justice, who underlined the interest and importance of such an event for the enforcement agents of Gabon as an opportunity to increase their technical aptitudes and to allow them to further master their profession.

Solid and worthwhile training

The themes selected were dealt with extremely well by all those concerned, UFOHJA experts, local enforcement agents, magistrates, who were able not only to arouse the interest of the audience by the scientific aspect of their presentations but also to raise pertinent questions to which all the answers were given.
Be it in terms of amicable and legal recovery of conservatory measures, difficulties of enforcement or deontology, of responsibility and of discipline, all the parties present were in agreement to recognise the interest of the themes discussed and the necessity of dealing with them by taking an essentially practical approach.
