It is in the splendid room of the Oratory of San Giovanni Battista dei Fiorentini of Bologna that took place on 16 October 2009 the second session of the National school of procedure of the Italian Association of Judicial Officers in Europe (AUGE) with for topic: the service of documents and civil enforcement in Italy and Europe

Under the high patronage of the Council of lawyers of Bologna, the conference joined together Dr. Giulano Lucentini, president of the Court of Appeal of Bologna, Lucio Strazziari, president of the Council of lawyers of Bologna, and Filippo Berselli, senator and lawyer, president of the Justice commission of the Senate and promoter of the Bill 749 on liberalization of the profession of judicial officer. The organization of this training day, brilliantly carried out by our colleague, Deborah Minasi, met such a success that it is with regret that the AUGE had to refuse inscriptions.

In the presence of Arcangelo d'Aurora and Andrea Mascioli, respectively president and vice-president of AUGE, and after a rapid presentation of the speakers, the floor was given to lawyer Giovanni Porcelli and Rose-Marie Bruno, UIHJ expert, who evoked the problems of the European enforcement order. Then, Chiara Graziosi, judge at the civil court of Bologna, treated the European order for payment and its problems for judges.

The arrival of Senator Berselli was greeted by a row of applause. The Senator thanked AUGE for being implied in the reform of civil justice in Italy and was pleased with the organization of the conference. He then presented a general panorama of this ambitious reform which “can be neither right nor left wing, but that of many citizens, thus a neutral reform”. Concerning the reform of the occupation of judicial officer, Mr. Berselli said that he was to meet the Government the following week and left the audience by inviting the whole of the participants to take part in the first Justice Show which would be held in Rimini from 3 to 6 December 2009.

Arcangelo d' Aurora and Lawyer Andrea Sirotti Gaudenzi, president of the Center of Study of European Telecommunications Law, engaged in developing the European service of documents within the framework of (EC) regulation (EC) 1393/2007 of 13 November 2007 mainly through a telematic approach. Orazio Melitta, coordinator of the National school of procedure, made a rapid presentation of the school and its organization.

The training day ended late in the evening after the many questions that were put by an audience allured by the high content of work. Rendezvous in Sicily in January 2010 for the third session!
