STOBRA: A Project for Europe and the World
In November 2011, the Permanent Council of the UIHJ entrusted the Council of the European Presidents of the UIHJ with the implementation of the Stobra Project aiming at harmonizing enforcement procedures and the status of judicial officers in Europe and in the world.
Six Stobra Commissions were created:
- Stobra 1: Harmonizing Enforcement Procedures on Immovable in Europe
- Stobra 2: Harmonizing the Service of Documents in Civil and Commercial Matter in the European Union
- Stobra 3: Promoting and Harmonizing the Transparency of Assets
- Stobra 4: Harmonizing the Setting of Evidence in Europe Through Statements of Facts Carried out by Judicial Officers
- Stobra 5: Organizing and Harmonizing the Training of Judicial Officers in Europe
- Stobra 6: Promoting and Harmonizing e-Justice and ICT for the Profession of Judicial Officer in Europe
