The UIHJ is a Place of Exchange and Meetings Not Only profitable to Judicial Officers, But Also to Academics of All Countries

There are meetings which come from the UIHJ and the National Chamber of Judicial Officers of Quebec... These meetings are the occasion to tie bonds not only with fellow-members of various countries but also with the legal and university world. It is a fact that judicial officers themselves live through the globalization of Law. Thanks to the particular and constant exchanges with specialists of Law of proceedings and Law of enforcement, it is natural for liberal judicial officers to be acknowledged as the main actors and supervisors of enforcement of court decisions, which are in the middle of the efficiency of the civil rights.

An example of these meetings is that which recently was held at the head office of the Chamber of Judicial Officers of Quebec, in Montreal. Professor Nadhir Ben Ammou has a chair of Private Law at the Law Faculty of Tunis. He is moreover member of several scientific councils of which in particular that of the National order of the judicial officers of Tunisia and also expert and member of the Scientific council of the International institute of Private law and Enforcement Law in Paris. He actively collaborates in many seminars and congresses organized under the aegis of the UIHJ. Pr Ben Ammou also published several studies and summary reports in various fields such as company law and contract law, civil liability, civil procedure and enforcement procedures, as well as the general theory on law. He thus published a text on the influence of French law on the Tunisian legal system within the framework of the works of the Association Henri Capitant.
