It is with great satisfaction that we welcomed this news. After Egypt (1966), Botswana (1969) and Malawi (1972), Morocco is the fourth African country to sign this Convention which aims to facilitate and accelerate the transmission and service of documents abroad in Civil and Commercial Matters.
The entry into force of the Convention for Morocco is 1st November 1 2011.
The UIHJ, who participated in the elaboration of this Convention and who is an ardent proponent sends its greetings to Morocco and calls for many other African countries to follow its example as soon as possible.
