Handing over at the Permanent Secretary of Ohada
On 30 August 2019, a ceremony was held in Yaoundé (Cameroon) to hand over the permanent secretariat of Ohada between Professor Dorothé Cossi Sossa and Professor Emmanuel Sibidi Darankoum.
The ceremony was held in the conference room of the Permanent Secretariat of Ohada. It was chaired by H.E. Ruth Monteiro, Minister of Justice and Human Rights of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, in the presence of H.E. Laurent Esso, Minister of State, Minister of Justice, Attorney General of the Republic of Cameroon, Mr Appolinaire César Ondo Mve, President of the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration (CCJA), and Professor Mayatta Ndiaye Mbaye, Director General of the Regional High School of Magistrature (Ersuma).
The UIHJ warmly thanks Professor Sossa for all his actions in the service of Ohada since taking office in April 2011, and for the perfect collaboration between the two institutions which has helped to strengthen their influence and has allowed the UIHJ to become a technical partner of Ohada.
The UIHJ sends its warmest congratulations to Professor Darankoum for his appointment, wishes him every success in his new duties, renews his full support for Ohada and looks forward to continuing his collaboration with him.
