On 22 April 2008 Was Held In Prague An International Conference On The Topic Of The “New Tendencies On the Field of Executions in the Czech republic and in Europe”.

Three topics for a conference

This day was organized by the Czech National committee of the Francophone Economic Forum along with the the National Chamber of the judicial officiers of the Czech Republic, under the high patronage of the Minister for justice, JUDr. Jiří Pospíšil, of the mayor of Prague, MUDr. Pavel Bém, and of the Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic.

The three topics discussed at the time of this day made it possible to evoke the execution of legal decisions in the European Union, the reforms relating to the execution in the Czech Republic, as well as the point of view of various institutions.
Concerning the topic of the execution of the legal decisions in Europe, Jacques Isnard, president of the UIHJ, and Leo Netten, first vice president, spoke about the position of judicial officers and the development of this profession in the European Union. They also approached the basic principles of the system of enforcement and the recommendation Rec(2003)17 of the Committee of the Ministers of the Council of Europe to the Member States of 9 September 2003.

In the part relating to the reform of justice in the field of the executions in the Czech Republic, the Minister for justice, Jiří Pospíšil and his adviser, Martina Kasíková, explained to the participants the future code of enforcement in his new version. This amendment will modify the current system of enforcement in the Czech Republic to increase its effectiveness. The interventions were completed by Mrs. Wolfová, vice-president of the National Chamber of the judicial officers of the Czech Republic.

More than 100 participants of the world of justice and finance

The representatives of banks also gave the point of view of the financial institutions on the service of enforcement of court decisions and the recovery of debts in the Czech Republic.

More than 100 participants, judges, judicial officers, lawyers and personalities of the financial world, took part in this day of conferences. Prior to the event, President Isnard and 1st Vice-President Netten had met the media.

The delegation of the National Chamber of the judicial officers of Slovakia, represented by its president, Jozef Rišian, and its vice-president, Stanislava Kolesárová, as well as the vice-president national of the National Chamber of the judicial officers of Poland, Michal Redelbach, honoured with their presence this important day of conference in the big meeting hall of the town hall of Prague.
