3rd UIHJ-EuroDanube Football Tournament
Officers of the Czech Republic organised in its capital (Prague) the 3rd UIHJ-EuroDanube Football Tournament under the patronage of the UIHJ President Leo Netten
The teams
The tournament included nearly 100 football players from seven UIHJ-EuroDanube countries: Bulgaria, Hungary, FYROM-Macedonia, Poland, Slovakia, Serbia and the Czech Republic.
This tournament was the biggest international sports event inside the UIHJ worldwide family. It was highlighted at the official end of the tournament by Michal Rudý, Vice-President of Judicial Officers Chamber of the Czech Republic.
The tournament was held in a very friendly atmosphere. The winner was the Hungarian team who won the UIHJ President's Cup. Poland came second. The bronze medal was won by Bulgaria.
The Special Prize of the President of the Judicial Officers Chamber of the Czech Republic for his contribution to the development of relations and friendship between EuroDanube countries was awarded by the first ever Secretary of EuroDanube Group Michael Redelbach from Poland.
The next “UIHJ-EuroDanube 2015” football tournament will be held in Bulgaria. It will be organised by Juraj Podkonicky, Treasurer of the UIHJ.
