Leo Netten, President of the UIHJ, Mohamed Cherif (Algeria), Vice-Treasurer of the UIHJ and Françoise Andrieux, General Secretary of the UIHJ, attended the event where the discussions were extensive and lively.
The work was structured in two workshops.
In the first workshop on "The modernization of the law on the profession, a necessity for legal security", the speakers did develop the role of structures in the career of the judicial officer followed by the guarantees of the independence of the profession for the proper administration of justice.
In the second workshop on "The reform of enforcement measures, a requirement for legal security”, Françoise Andrieux presented the Global Code of Enforcement as a harmonizing element, an essential pillar of legal security.
Delegations from Algeria, Morocco and Mauritania were present alongside our Tunisian colleagues.
