Opening of a permanent representation of the UIHJ in Brussels
The UIHJ inaugurated the buildings of its permanent representation in Brussels on September 24th, 2008.
A board meeting of the UIHJ was held on September 24th, 2008 at the House of the judicial officers in Brussels, 9 rue de la Petite Ile, opened by the District Chamber of the judicial officers of Brussels.
On this occasion the new buildings of the permanent representation of the UIHJ in Brussels, seat of the European institutions, were inaugurated solemnly. These buildings were placed gracefully at the disposal of the UIHJ by the District Chamber of the judicial officers of Brussels. A nameplate was fixed at the entry of the buildings. This event shows the will of the UIHJ to be as close as possible to the European institutions.
During the ceremony, the president of the UIHJ, Jacques Isnard, cordially thanked the District Chamber of the judicial officers of Brussels and beyond the National chamber of the judicial officers for Belgium. This permanent representation will facilitate and support the UIHJ in the multiple actions undertaken near the European institutions.
