Participation of the UIHJ in an International Symposium on Enforcement at the University of Mar del Plata
Françoise Andrieux, President of the UIHJ, Luis Ortega Alcubierre, Vice-President of the UIHJ, and Maximiliano Monterisi Marchese, President of the Association of Notifiers of Mar del Plata, participated on 12 September 2016 at the University Atlantica of Mar del Plata (Argentina) in an international symposium on the theme: "Good Practices of Enforcement of Court Decisions”

The delegation of the UIHJ was received by the Dean of the University, Veronica Mabel Santiago, who was responsible for organising the event. Françoise Andrieux presented the Global Code of Enforcement, a harmonization tool for the enforcement of court decisions in the world. She reminded the audience that this model law was an instrument of good legal governance allowing all states of the world to speak a common language around the concept of Rule of Law.
Luis Ortega spoke about and detailed the profession of judicial officer in Europe, focusing in turn on training and its resulting activities. Finally, the third speaker, Maximiliano Marchese Monterisi, explained how documents were served in Argentina, highlighting the difficulties and proposing improvements through comparative study with opportunities for European judicial officers in this area.
Many questions and thoughts followed this event marking the interest of participants. The UIHJ thanked the University Atlantica of Mar del Plata and its Dean for their hospitality.
