At the symposium organised by the Ovidius University of Constanta in Romania on 3 and 4 April 2014 on the theme "State Reform Through Various Legal Codes", the president of the UIHJ, Leo Netten, and the rector of the University, Ion Bordeianu, have signed a cooperation agreement between the UIHJ and the Ovidius University of Constanta
Signature of the cooperation agreement: Ion Bordeianu, Rector of the Ovidius University of Constanta, and Leo Netten, President of the UIHJ
This agreement focuses on cooperation in training between the two institutions. On this occasion, President Netten, after thanking our colleague Adrian Stoica, lecturer at the Faculty of Law of Constanta and former board member of the UIHJ, architect of the signing of this agreement, noted that the presence of the UIHJ at the university and its participation in its academic work was a strong message to the legal community.
He said that the work on the drafting of the Global Code of Enforcement could only be achieved through the combined efforts of academics and practitioners concretized by cooperation agreements with universities. Rector Bordeianu mentioned that "This agreement brings us closer to Europe and vice-versa."
During two days, work then took place around the study of reforms of the Civil Code and the Code of Civil Procedure for the first day and the Penal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedure for the second day.
Natalie Fricero, professor at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (France) and member of the Scientific Council of the UIHJ, and Françoise Andrieux, general secretary of the UIHJ, presented on this occasion the work of the Global Code of Enforcement.
