Reception of the UIHJ in Barcelona at the headquarters of the Union for the Mediterranean
On 15 March 2017, a delegation of the UIHJ, composed of Françoise Andrieux, President, Luis Ignacio Ortega Alcubierre, Vice-President, José Carlos Resendé, Secretary General of UIHJ-EuroMed and Vice-President of UEHJ, and Ignacio Lopez Chocarro, Dean of the Bar of the Procuradores of Barcelona, was received in Barcelona (Spain) at the headquarters of the Union for the Mediterranean (UPM) by its Secretary General, Fathallah Sijilmassiet, and by his Communication and public affairs officer, Sergi Farré.
This was an opportunity for the delegation to present not only the UIHJ but more precisely UIHJ-EuroMed, an organisation created to respond to the Barcelona process and whose objective is economic trust through the professional judicial officer and its activities.
Mr Sijilmassi and Farré were very interested in the work of the UIHJ and UIHJ-EuroMed, declaring that the UPM is open to collaboration with international organisations whose concerns lead to concrete solutions, particularly in the field of Legal and economic security.
Lastly, the UIHJ was encouraged to participate in UPM labeled projects.
