The FNTC is a trade association whose statutes are governed by the provisions of the French Labour Code. It was created under the aegis of the Supreme Council of the Order of Chartered Accountants of France, the National Council of Registrars of Commercial Courts of France, the National Chamber of Judicial Officers of France and a group of leading companies offering services in the field of paperless documents joined by experts and associations recognized in the field of trade and the securing electronic documents.
The following objectives of the FNTC should be mentioned:
• The representation of the profession of Trusted Third Parties, both in France and abroad, with public authorities, standardization groups and professional organizations,
• The facilitation of a continuous reflection on organizational issues or technical areas relating to the above topics, thus allowing to propose and promote norms, classifications and standards to improve efficiency and security services and the interoperability between systems,
• The promotion of professional ethics and the quality and sustainability of services,
• The definition of a quality reference service to issue a label to members of the Federation meeting the eligibility requirements,
• The promotion of the label to institutions or public or private organizations and more widely to all users likely to use services offered by members of the Federation,
• The development of cooperation in the above mentioned areas and related industries at national, European and international levels (source: www.fntc.org).

The UIHJ recently joined the FNTC. Leo Netten, president of the UIHJ wanted to mark his presence to the first attendance of our organization to an event set by the FNTC.
President Netten was accompanied by his Secretary General, Françoise Andrieux, and his 1st Secretary, Mathieu Chardon. The seminar took place in the Amphitheatre lent by the French National chamber of Judicial Officers in Paris. Works took place in the presence of Prefect Bertrand Maréchaux, Director of the National Agency of Secured Titles of France (ANTS).
After the welcome words of Alain Bobant, President of the FNTC, Arnaud Belleil, Vice-Director of Cecurity.com made a presentation on the topic of anonymity and pseudo-anonymity: the other side of Digital Identity. François Coupez, lawyer, talked about Digital reputation and the right to oblivion.
A round table chaired by Pascal Colin, executive president of the FNTC, included Prefect Maréchaux together with Fabrice Mattatia, representative of the Agency of Deposit and Consignment of France on the IdeNum project. The two speakers evoked the work in progress in the fields of Digital National Identity Card and the IdeNum label.
The meeting ended with the 9th edition of the Trophies of Innovation of Trusted Third Parties, awarded to two companies, Ariadnext and Sogelink, and by the 2nd edition of the Promotion of Trust, awarded to the ANTS.
President Netten declared very interested by the seminar, attended by nearly a hundred participants. He said he looked forward to the many opportunities lying ahead between the UIHJ and the FNTC.
